Husk wasn't proud of his past as an Overlord, sure he liked the wealth, game and respect that came with it but he wasn't proud of the kind of person he was then. Well respect may not be the right word, when you're an Overlord people get rather scared for you than admire you and that's why he never really had any real friends.
People were just around him cause of what the could gain of him.
But it got even worse when he started to lose both money, property and his souls cause of his reckless bets and in his desperate state he was forced to make a deal from the Radio demon and lost his own soul just like that and now he was hooked, trapped in his chain and unable to ever break free from it.
So for years Husk did such things he never thought he was ever capable of before and soon he was dragged into doing some charity job at a Hotel with the princess about her endless dreams of redemption
Husk was assigned to be a bartender at the hotel, well rather forced than assigned.
He would've lost his mind if it weren't for the alcohol to drown his sorrows.
But then you stepped inside of the hotel with fiddling hands and a nervous expression on your face.
Husk knew instanly that you were diffrent from the others, not in a bad way he thougt, you were more calm and resonable.

He'd pull you away from any conversation with a person he found " unplesant" to you, he'd mess up with your sceadule so you'd mostly spend your time with him and maybe if a person just happens to catcall you on the streets he'd have them choking on their own blood and leave them to slowly die in a dumpster.
He dosen't like to get his hands dirty so he tries his best to make it quick and cover the evidence, can't have you getting frighten of him
He knew he had to protect you
After the extermination war at the hotel you were sevearly hurt and bruised, almost fainted due to bloodlost
Husk took the responsebility to clean you up and take care of you.
He scooped you up in his arms and carried you to his room where he patched you up quickly but you were so weak that you couldn't lift yourself of the bed.
Husk reasured you that it was ok for you to stay in his room for a few days until you feelt better.
The first night when you feel asleep on the other side of the bed under the warm covers Husk stared down at your sleeping form and his claws carefully caressed your cheek as if it was made of the most delicate glass.
This was perfect! And it was even better when he found out that Alastor was killed by Adam. When he saw the dying body of his Overlord a grin appeared on his lips. He was finally free, free from the chains, free from the endless suffering, it was over..
And he finally had you......

No one's pov:You open your mouth to let out a big, loud yawn as you fiddled with your fingers.
One week, one you've been in this hotel room to relax and heal from that bug war. It wasn't easy but you were so happy to have Husk's help and care.
He took care of you like no one had ever had before. He ran you baths, made you laugh when you were sad and even gave you your favorite food and dessert when you couldn't even join the others for meals and whatsoever.
A sudden creeking sound made you turn your head against the door to see Husk getting inside of the room with a plastic bag, possibly contains your dinner for today and might a sweet since it's a hot sunday evening.
His dark eyes meet yours and he smiled at you and sat on the bed
" Hello dollface"
He reached his par into the bag to reveal your food
" I brought you some food, the others are out doing errands so it's just you and me tonight, we can watch a movie if you want to."You gently accepted the meal and smiled at him
" Thanks Husk, it would be very fun"So you both sat beside eachother while watching a movie and you eat your food. It was really comfortable and the thought that you might be able to get out in two days made you even more happier.
The movie was a pretty fun movie that made you laugh and Husk to choke on his own laughter
The food itself was delcious though you feelt rather weird while eating the food, Husk was watching you eat with intense that made you nervous and almost drop your plate.
You tried to focus on the movie but you couldn't stop giving him side peeks,
It was then you noticed something......diffrent with the food
Mmmmh....
You didn't know if it was from the lack of exercises or the fact that you were still tired but the meal kinda tasted more...salty than usual....But you quickly shrugged it off, the resturant had probably just poured a bit much spice this time
Yeah, it was probably just that.
That was then you yawned again but this time it was louder and soon you feelt your limbs were numb
" Are you tired doll~?"
Husk asked softly while scratching your back with his claws, you only nodded weakly in response and set the half-finnished plate on the side." Don't worry, go to sleep~"
Husk cooed at you while pulling the covers over you and tricking you in tightly
" It'll all be better once you wake up"You hummed in response, you trusted him and so you were fast to drift off into a deep sleep while Husk smirked down at you........
The pills really worked more effectivly than he thought................
