- There was bronze in the diving for British pair Anthony Harding and Jack Laugher in the men's synchro 3m springboard - the fourth successive medal won in the diving pool by Team GB out of four finals so far at Paris 2024.
- There was athletics action, with gold medal hope Keely Hodgkinson cruising into the 800m semi-finals along with Jemma Reekie and Phoebe Gill also qualifying, along with Daryll Neita, Dina Asher-Smith and Imani-Lara Lansiquot made it through in the 100m heats.

Athletics expert on BBC Radio 5 LiveIt was shades of Mo Farah wasn't it. Joshua Cheptegui just get at the back, he didn't get involved. Kejelcha in front was like a concertina trying to make the race quick and then was thinking I'm not going to do all the hard work, so he slows it back down.
And then Cheptegui just emerges with three laps to go just like we used to see Mo Farah do.
Cheptegui hit the front with five hundred metres to go and he didn't let go of the rail.
